Visit the HGTV Overlook

The HGTV Overlook is a 500-foot esplanade with a marble central plaza offering spectacular views of the park, river, and mountains. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. Bistro tables are available along the esplanade for your park picnic. Parking for the Overlook is available behind the Park administration building.

General Park Questions

 Lakeshore Park is a 185-acre general recreation public park located along the Tennessee River in Knoxville, TN. It's a joint project managed by the non-profit Lakeshore Park Conservancy and the City of Knoxville, offering extensive greenways, sporting facilities, event venues, and beautiful natural landscapes.

Lakeshore Park is open to the public from dawn to dusk daily. Specific facilities within the park may have different operating hours.

Yes, domesticated house pets are welcome at Lakeshore Park. We ask that all pets be kept on a leash and that you clean up after your pet.
