The past few years have given us all a new appreciation and perspective on the importance of our parks and open spaces. Lakeshore Park has become a place of refuge and serenity, but higher use also puts a strain on our resources. Â As a public park that relies on private donations, we need our community's support to keep the park clean, safe, and thriving. Here are a few different ways you can give back to Lakeshore Park!
The Friends of Lakeshore Park is a circle of individuals who are committed to the creation and maintenance of this extraordinary urban park along the Tennessee River. This initiative was established in 2018 to recognize community members who are dedicated to the ongoing operation and maintenance of the park through donations, special events, and volunteering.
Friends contribute unrestricted gifts of $100 or more to provide a crucial runway of support as we build the park and the programs that will secure Lakeshore Park as a vibrant and active green space.
A tribute gift or memorial is a meaningful way to celebrate weddings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or just to let someone know they’re in your thoughts.
We have opportunities for corporate partnerships that strategically place your brand and team in the heart of Lakeshore Park. Event sponsorships, in-kind donations of goods and services, and other partnerships help make our work possible. For more information on ways to support the Lakeshore Park Conservancy through corporate investments, please contact us.
The Lakeshore Park Conservancy store has various items for sale to help promote and preserve the park. Proceeds from the sale of these items go back into the maintenance of the Park.
