Save the Date! The Lakeshore Park Picnic returns June 13th. The goal of the picnic is to raise funds and awareness, but there is no confusing it with a black-tie gala. Knox County Master Gardeners, The Knoxville Plantsmen & Lakeshore Park Conservancy invite you to an evening with renowned British Land Architect Kim Wilkie. Kim collaborates with architects and engineers around the world designing towns & landscapes. Author of "Led by the Land," Wilkie has famous projects at Longwood Gardens, Earthworks at Broughton Park, England, and Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The event Will be Thursday, June 11th from 6:30-8:00pm at Marble Hall. Seating for 200 is available. The event is free and open to the public.

Summer means the return of SAIL classes at the Park! Adults 65+ are invited to join this free workout class M,W,F from 9:30-10:30am in Marble Hall now through September 11th. This fun exercise class is designed to be adaptable for all fitness levels. Attendees should bring a folding chair and water bottle.
