Like many other businesses and organizations, Lakeshore Park Conservancy is facing uncertain times. The Park remains a place of refuge and serenity during this crisis, but the surge in visitors also brings a need for increased waste collection and cleaning around the Park. The Conservancy relies upon contributions from friends and supporters of the Park and revenues from facility rentals and special events to fund maintenance and operation of the Park. Revenues from facility rentals have come to a halt due to the social distancing measures put in place. Revenues from special events have been delayed. Funds are still needed to cover the costs of mowing, caring for the trees, shrubs and flowers and general maintenance and cleaning in the Park. Lakeshore Park and other general recreation parks are among the few spaces still open to the public, and keeping them open and operational is critical to the physical and mental health of our community. Your donation today can help keep your Park beautiful and operational.
Friends of Lakeshore Park is a circle of individuals who are committed to the creation and maintenance of this extraordinary urban park along the Tennessee River. Friends contribute unrestricted gifts of $100 or more, providing a crucial runway of support as we build the park and the programs that will secure Lakeshore Park as a vibrant and active green space.
Your support created this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a new park for future generations. By giving to the Lakeshore Park Conservancy, you are investing in the future of our beloved city. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.
Tributes and Memorials
Just like Lakeshore Park provides a perfect setting for activities and making memories in every season, it can serve as a perfect gift for any occasion. A tribute gift or memorial is a meaningful way to celebrate weddings, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or just to let someone know they’re in your thoughts.
We have opportunities for corporate partnerships that strategically place your brand and team in the heart of Lakeshore Park.
